Most overrated Best Picture: As Throwing Muses eloquently pointed out this is no contest due to the pretentiousness of this horrid, sickening film "Forrest Gump". Anyone who put Titanic needs to quit hating as this was based on an historical event and that alone makes it significant. No one can deny its spot at the top as it has that certain magic.
Overrated High Grossing Movie: Too many to list but Star Wars Episode I would lead the way. Whomever said ET should really seek help as I think it is underrated.
Overrated Foreign Film: Crouching Tiger. This was an average, overviolent film that replaced riveting dialogue with one dazzling action sequence after another. The first half hour was dazzling but then it just all became redundant. Ang Lee ain't John Ford.
