02/20/01: They need to learn some geography

Posted By: patti5

When someone makes a movie, they need to be accurate about geographic areas. This movie insults the intelligence (in more ways than one) of everyone who has either lived or visited San Francisco. The last scene of the wedding, which was supposed to be in the wine country, which they did really visit earlier in the movie, took place at San Francsico's Golden Gate Park, NOT the wine country. It is the Japanese Tea Garden, I remember it well. So it's really phony when Matthew McConnahy(excuse the spelling) is supposed to be rushing over the Golden Gate Bridge to get back to Jennifer. He's really only five minutes away at GG Park! Since millions of people would notice this I don't see how they could put it in. I guess they just don't care. And Jennifer as a Sicilian. Why didn't they just keep her as the nice Latina that she is.
