A sequel is currently in the works. Quentin Tarantino reportedly liked the film so much that he convinced Miramax to finance a sequel.
The Director Todd Solondz
is writing the sequel, which will follow Dawn through her
"sweet sixteen" years in High School. She will supposedly
have a strange fixation on the film "Heathers" and will begin
to assert herself with her tormentors...maybe a little too
far. This film will start filming in late 98.
