I was under the impression that your income taxes were significantly lower than ours (in Canada), due to your lack of social programs, but in New York, at least, you're probably on par with us.

I understand that your health system is expensive, which is why so many Americans can't afford health care. Our system is certainly flawed, but at least it's universal.
