Now, I was under the impression that during the Vietnam War, in the USA they had this institution called DRAFT to make sure men would go to war even if they were NOT willing.
So what does it tell you about the political leadership in America (both Democrats and Republicans), when almost none of those sent their sons and fathers to fight in Vietnam? The only name that comes to mind is of course senator John McCaine.
Clinton, Bush W, etc. all found ways to avoid being sent to that hell hole.
