In the scene where Claire (Michelle Pfieffer) is trying to call her daughter Caitlin (Katherine Towne) and then the dog barks at the water and Claire trys to get the ball and sees something in the lake, well, what was it? I couldn't tell at all. Was it the box with the necklace or Madison's (Amber Valleta's) face or something?
The movie was pretty good, but, like a lot of movies i've seen recently, the ending kind of ruined it. The whole movie was about the haunting and then most of the ending was, although entertaining, totally different than the rest of the movie. They should have worked Madison in there more. Also, the first 40 min. or so made you think that it was about a neighbor killing his wife and I would have been surprised by the whole affair thing if they didn't give it away in the preveiws. That pissed me off. Rating: 8
