A very large majority of Americans do support gun laws that are stronger than current standards. At least, that's what the pollsters are saying. And I suppose they know, since they've been calling up people on the phone and quizzing them on their opinions. That's what they're paid to do, and I bet they do a pretty good job at it.
Whether this is right or wrong I am not saying. In my opinion, there's both good and bad in that fact. But regardless of my particular opinions, the fact remains - a lot of Americans, more than a majority, do support strong gun control laws. Or at least stronger than current.
