It must not be the "oi" sound. I just don't like ointment and moist.
I was taking Karen's poll and a co-worker came into my office and asked if I had a moist towelette. I may be a little compulsive, but I'm not a compulsive hand-washer. I just don't keep moist towelettes in my pocket. Just my truck. That got me thinking about what a strange word moist is. Then ointment. Then kit.
OK, I'm a freak.
