As the chairman of the civil rights commision that examined the voting practices in Florida in the last election pointed out, a spoiled ballot was ten times more likely to have come from a black voter as from a white voter. In the districts where the sampling took place, education was not a factor, as both Blacks and Whites in those districts had achieved equivalent levels of education. It is acknowleged that Blacks generally vote for the Democratic ticket. In fact, Tomas Sowell was the only man of color in this country to have voted for Dubya. Even Colin Powel voted for Gore.
The disenfranchisement of Blacks more than makes up for the felons who voted. Hell, most of the felons probably voted for the Repubbies. They know a kindred spirit when they see one.
