During the peak of the Mt. St. Helens eruption, cars in the US still produced 80 times more greenhouse gases than the volcano did.

Global warming disrupts climates, in some cases causing cooling. In my area, two years ago, we had the warmest winter on record. However, if global warming changes ocean current patterns, places that are now warmed by those same currents, could get cooler.

The concept of global warming isn't that greedy capitalists are the only ones who produce greenhouse gasses, but that they might add enough to the existing system to make changes to the environment that wouldn't otherwise occur.
