06/07/01: It's not all about the money

Got a serious job offer yesterday - I believe I could have the job if I said I wanted it - for an executive position with a local charity, would be in charge of 16 paid staff and numerous volunteers who are among Tampa's premier families. Would hobnob with the hoitie toities in fund raising duties. Would pay at least $5,000 to $10,000 more than I'm making now, plus a signing bonus was strongly hinted at.

Not going to take it, and boy would my boss be mad if he found out who made the offer, but when Princess Poopy Head is on the warpath (as she has been this week), sure makes me think about it.
