Hi! Long time no talk to!
I like your idea of even-odd days. Although most days in DC seem pretty odd to me. (Hey, you left it lying there, waiting for me to pick it up...)
On the other hand, the NZ system sounds good--keep 'em busy doing nothing and leave the rest of us in peace.
I wish I felt better about my own government than I do. The time the federal government was closed was so restful, really...
