EEEwwww! I watched most of the Florida Supreme Court fantasy game this afternoon. At 3:50 I had to make a beer run, so I didn't get to see the whole gibbering, quasi- literate spectacular that the rest of the nation had to endure. From what I witnessed, I have to say that the Supreme Court Justices of Florida don't know much more about the election process than I do. What was with all those questions about proper procedure, and the Fla Secretary Of States' place in the whole process? Don't they know?
I felt sorry for Bush's attorneys. Those poor guys got reamed like they were 10 cent pimps on Fla Avenue. And the attorney for Kate Harris looked like he was going to have a heart attack. This is all great fun for me. Seeing highly educated men and women on both sides of the controversy doing their best to put the wrong man into office. It's kind of like Satan has come up from the pit, and reclaimed those souls who wanted to be lawyers.
