I am somewhere near the beginning of book 7 where it is starting to drag. Burn all the politicking magic makers and get on with the adventure!
Maybe it is the medical background I grew up with, but I can't stand Boxing. I don't mind simulated fights or fights that don't involve trying to inflict brain damage on the opponent (knock out). Rugby Union perhaps? Old Ali doesn't seem to think as fast as he used to and it ain't Alzheimers.
Fencing perhaps? Karate? Why the hell boxing? how about mud wrestling instead?? That seems more appropriate to the swamp.
