His Crankiness missed the dumbest thing about this film. It's the subplot where Willy Jack gets out of jail and almost instantly becomes a country music star. I have several relatives in the music business and I can tell you that IT DON'T HAPPEN THAT WAY! The proverb about the overnight sensation that took 10 years is true.
