See, Jesus believed that true religious faith is too personal, too important and too private to become public ritual. Faith is not something you force on anyone.
Okay, so I stole all that from a newspaper column. I'm not versed in the Bible. I don't read fiction, especially fantasy. Still, it seems that Christ wouldn't approve of sticking "god" in everything, and marketing his likeness.
