Wrongfully Accused, 2 stars

Yet another hilarious parody in the tradition of Naked Gun, Wrongfully Accused parodies several movies at once. Notably, The Fugitive and Mission: Impossible. Leslie Nielson plays Ryan Harrison, an innocent violinsist (Harrison causes carnage, using his bow recklessly, at a concert) charged with murder. Harrison escapes when a bus he's travelling in is hit by a train. Harrison's legs spiral cartoon style as he flees from the oncoming destruction. Following is a nation wide manhunt, and Harrison's own hunt for the one-armed, one-legged, one-eyed man who actually commited the crime. One of Nielson's funnier films, after the somewhat disappointing "Spy Hard." May not be as good as "Naked Gun," but definetly a good laugh.

Although Nielson has enjoyed moderate success outside of "Naked Gun" and "Police Squad," his personally horizon is approaching. Whether from death or lack of popularity only time will tell. In the meantime, he'll hopefully perservere and continue to delight audiences nation wide.
