.. but DAMN, it was LOUD! Even louder than Jumanji.
We had actually planned on seeing North Country, but were 7 minutes late for that one, so we went to Zathura. It was worth the price of matinee admission, and the special effects were quite cool, but it was just too kaboomy for my taste. Coaster would like it, I'm sure.
Mr. Cranky's review was right on -- the brothers constant bickering, and the teen-aged snot stomping around in her skank clothes got old fairly fast. Other than the noise and the brats, it was entertaining enough.
